Xbox Series X / S

Demon's Souls? Not for me
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart? played on PC
Returnal? Saros? Not for me
Stellar Blade? Not for me
Astro Bot? I forgot about this, only played the one that came with the PS5. I will get a copy of the newer one to jam sometime.
Forbidden West's DLC? played on PC
Spider Man 2? I struggled with the first spiderman. I am struggling with Miles Morales. These games suffer from extreme open world syndrome. I am going to file Spiderman 2 under not for me because of this.
Rise of the Ronin? Doesn't look like this is for me.
Dispatch? played on PC

Wolverine is a maybe depending on reviews. I have struggled with their prior games. The first Kena game didn't wow me (another title I played on PC), so I have my doubts about this one doing it for me either. Until Dawn 1 was alright, but I didn't really think it needed a sequel - I doubt I will play it, but you never know.

I think I have mentioned in the PS5 thread that my PS5 is essentially waiting for Laufey and Intergalactic.
So are you saying you have simply ignored all the free games that came with the PS5 and PSN plus?
I don't sub to PS+ or whatever its called - I have no need to at the moment.

I know this seems quite foreign for some reason, but obviously a lot of people have PS5's and use them a lot. I have one and I don't - it's just how it is. I happen to find my Xbox more useful at the moment. Contrary to news cycles, console sales stats and so on, people like me do exist.

Doesn't make sense to buy a PS5 to play 4 exclusives over 3 years.

Well at least you can sell both consoles before Project Helix next year, should cover 60-70% of the cost.

Xbox really is run by idiots. Why showcase a game then a week later close the studio

Halo Studios is very lucky that public sentiment is very high towards a fantastic-looking Campaign Evolved. I don't think they could've survived another Craig the brute meme.

Ja, but it seems somewhat contrived.

Don't worry boyz !! GTA will save the industry.
I blame all this buyout money.

Company x buys company y. Owner/CEO/whoever gets a **** ton of money. Zero motivation to make games as a living.

Look at doublefine. They are meant to produce a game every 2/3 years to survive

Just imagine the mother ****ing paychecks and extras Rockstar will get when they release.

Well if Ninja Theory want to go independent again (looking for investors) or go buy out option, No better time than now?

See Reddit
To be honest, Hellblade 1 was a face simulator, and Hellblade 2 not far off from that (although it was a lot prettier). While I don't understand why they went and put their new one in the showcase (that seems a bit messed up), I am not surprised that they made the list for getting nuked.

Was sad to see Double Fine on that shortlist. Psychonaughts 2 was great. Everything after, mixed bag.

Maybe they should go back to old crowdfunding way of making games. I mean Psychonaughts 2 got its initial funding via Kickstarter.

Let people vote with wallets on what to dev.

From the Gears E Day reddit thread discussing movement.

Agreed, one big thing I hope TC doesn’t do this time around with E-Day is listen to the E-Sports players they’re essentially the reasoning for wall bouncing going from an exploit in Gears 2 to full blown AIDS in Gears 3 and up.

I agree with this. Don't want to need 6 thumbs to be competitive in MP.
I am so STOKED for E Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'm a Horde addict (having finished the full 50-wave Horde mode on all maps in Gears 5 on Master difficulty), but how the heck is this going to work in the new Horde Siege mode in E-Day?

The 12-player co-op in Gears of War: E-Day will feature in an entirely new player-versus-environment (PvE) mode called Horde Siege.

Rather than standard Horde mode, the developers (The Coalition and People Can Fly) have dialed up the scale to fit the chaos of Emergence Day:

Squad Structure: The 12 players are divided into three distinct squads (4 players per squad).

The Mission: Your squads must cooperate to defend various districts and strategic locations across the city of Kalona.

The Threat: Instead of standard wave-based defense in a small arena, you are dealing with massive, city-wide, large-scale Locust attacks that require squads to coordinate across larger combat zones.

Hope they dialed up the intelligence of the bots in this one.

Next up, Xbox will either take day-and-date first-party out of GP to keep it at its current pricing, or keep day-and-date and increase the GP price.
