The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

Nice - still would of preferred Embrose and not Cobus.
Yeah, Embrose has been in scintillating form this season. He deserves a game. I mean, we trust Rassie impeccably but seriously Rassie?

Interesting no Wilco Louw, maybe needs the break. I suspect fatigue.

Not too many surprises, all said and done. Rassie clearly looking to bank England before experimenting with the likes of Moyo and Norton. Might see the pair of them on the bench for either Wales or Scotland or both...

I'm torn, still think Moyo and Norton should be with the U20s in their bid to defend their U20 title...

U20s are looking unbelievably strong, with little to no lack of depth but I feel if there is a perceived weakness it's in the lineouts and tight 5. No Kai Pratt through injury, absolute gun loosehead. That tight 5 could do with the likes of Norton and Pratt... Don't be fooled by the Uruguay result, this competition will get a lot stiffer...

They're going to need to defend their title without 4 of possibly the most talented age group rugby players alive... Kai Pratt, Riley Norton, Vusi Moyo, Siyaya...

Ja I think Wilco might be a little pap from the URC, as for the others " miracle recoveries "

Maybe the youngsters will be in the match day squad for Wales.

Still prefer Cobus over Embrose to start. Need the calm heads to start and soften them up, then pop on our explosives

Interesting that we starting with Grant and Manie on Saturday.

I think the plan is blitz England early on, all selections point to a high tempo, running game, similar to the one against Australia in last seasons opener.

That was possibly the greatest 20 minutes of rugby the Boks played all season. They then followed it up with 60 minutes of pure mediocrity. 22-37, I was there!!! Hurt!! Hurt badly, won't lie....

It's a fine balancing act. I sympathize with SARU's predicament.

I wonder what are the chances of a dramatic price cut, later in the week?

Not that I'm in the market either way.

There's 6 internationals on, starting at 9h10 and finishing around 23h00.

I'll be on the couch thanks, R2k worth of food and drink in tow...
