Warning for people waiting on eFiling refunds in South Africa

Criminals are using the allure of tax refunds from the South African Revenue Service (SARS) to clone the bank cards of taxpayers and steal their funds.

This is according to Thalia Pillay, CEO and co-founder of South African anti-fraud software startup Orca. The company protects over R82 billion in monthly transactions from fraud.
