What's the supposed end game here? That FIFA is rigging matches so Argentina can win another World Cup because of Messi? That doesn't make much sense.

Its fine to question decisions during a match, but claiming the entire tournament is fixed every time something doesn't go a teams way is a huge leap.

If an organization's heads are corrupt, it would be awfully naive to think things on the ground would be any different.

Spain, France, Argentina and England have an extra advantage in this World Cup compared to previous ones.

The top 4 were 'extra seeded' above the hosts and those ranked 8 to 12.

That extra advantage wasn't there in previous World Cups.

That worked out great. The groups were very balanced and host countries all got far enough to make it interesting.
