Proper Sleeping tablets. Last time I flew back from Miami to CT, I fell asleep 1 hour into the flight and woke up with less than an hour to landing.

If I had to choose 1 thing, it would be an sim/e-sim with data in my phone. It feels like if I have that at a destination, I could pretty much sort out most situations (albeit with different levels of effort).


If I can have a small list of necessities:
- Sim as mentioned above
- Device Charger and international Adapter
- Couple of days of chronic meds
- Digital copies of all docs
- 2 Different cards (banks)
- Small amount of Cash
- Translations App (depending on destination)

I feel with that second list I could get anything sorted even easier than with just a sim.

Where do you download this item, app or device ? Is it a pop-up lounge?

I guess you can say so yes. It comes in the form of a black Visa card, and with it, lounges you can access for free pop up all over the show

for me it has to be decent lounge access at multiple airports. Having access to good lounges, with decent food, and showers, has made the biggest difference to my international travel experience, compared to my younger, poorer backpacking days

Decent food in a lounge? Man, I sometimes get something to eat in the airport before I go to a lounge for a drink. The food is generally pretty poor imo.

a change of clothes for the lounge so i can shower, freshen up and put on the creams etc. And my phone. Without my phone i would just float aimless through the universe like a NASA probe who's power cells have finished and it just floats, lifelessly getting pulled here and there by whatever gravitational force affects it.
