Well today there is quite a few rugby games on and the start of the Currie cup.

In respect of the red card issued to Luan Giliomee, the FPRC decided to refer the matter to a Disciplinary Committee for a full hearing, which took place on Thursday, July 16 2026. The committee was chaired by Helen Morgan (New Zealand), joined by former players Stefan Terblanche (South Africa) and Christopher Morgan (Wales).

Having considered all available evidence and the player’s submissions, the committee decided that the incident did not involve foul play and therefore they decided to dismiss the red card. The player is free to play with immediate effect.
Not often a South African gets favourable news from a disciplinary committee

So the ref, 2 x AR and TMO said it was foul play and off field review and then the bunker upgraded it to a 20min red card for high degree of danger yet the committee said no foul play at all and rescinded the card.

How does world rugby not see the issue here? If that decision was made like that 1min before the end of the game in a final a team could have lost based on that.

IN addition to that, he hasn't been named in tomorrows 23 so the BB's are deprived of one of the most dynamic attacking 15's in the competition.

He's a match winner.

He was integral in swinging the momentum SA's way in the 2nd half of the SF.... had a touch in just every try we scored. Huge loss not to have him contest the final. Feliz is also good but Luan is exceptional!!!

I'm livid!!!

All blacks taking the scrum in front of the posts. Just like the Boks would.

That shoulder charge should really have been a red. Dumbest mitigating factor the tv ref managed to come up..."his hand got blocked by player on ground" that he was driving over which stopped him from using both hands?!!!?????!!??
As he flies in off his feet leading the dive with no arms out...geezuz . Kak refereeing bordering on crooking.

NZ commentators are retarded as usual as well.......Kinda hoped the irish would piss on their parade....

Wow, NZ beating Ireland by 19 points is quite a statement win. The All Blacks are better than I thought. All of a sudden the Greatest Rivalry don't look so one-sided anymore. 😳
Don't think it was ever going to be a 1 sided affair, but yes, AB's looking very sharp, a sharpness that was lacking under Razor. Forwards showing some intent, rediscovered the mongrel within, another element of their play that was absent under Razor.

Rennie's got these boys firing. It's going to be spicy!!!!

They are almost in position to take our nr1 ranking away now

The constant chopping and changing is going to bite Rassie on the ass. Three games now and we haven’t played a good 80 minutes.
