The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

I thought Papier had quite a decent outing, surpised they went with Jantjies, who didn't really impress much, instead

Because of money and greed
43 man aquad for the Argies and NZ

Very good squad! Close to the strongest group Rassie could have selected. A pity RG is still injured. I am also surprised about Vusi Moyo's inclusion. The kid has the talent and x-factor but not sure he's ready to face top opposition. Maybe just there to gain experience and learn the team culture?

I don't think a lot of them will get a chance honestly, that's the same group/ pool of players from the past 3 - 4 matches.

Vusi can be on the list but won't feature unless we run riot the first 3 games - which I highly doubt cos this AB team is far more unified than the last team.

It'll be trimmed come first team and the AB's at Ellis.

Maybe Rassie is looking to send an entire different team to Arg than the team to face the ABs?

I wouldn't be surprised tbh. No one wants all the first choice players getting injured against the Argies

He is sending make shift team of players, Sacha, Moodie and even Esterhuizen should feature in Argentina.

But I think the focus will be to prep for Dave Rennie and co.

I am a bit sad for Papier - he had a good game on his last outing. I think at the moment he is better than Krappies and Herschelle.
Look, Rassie has earned our unconditional and implicit trust given his impressive track record, but if he's got 1 thing wrong this season, surely it's not including Embrose in the squad? I honestly don't understand why.

I think Evan Roos could also consider himself a little unlucky. His sometimes impetus behavior coupled with a penchant for giving away silly penalties, continues to handicap his progress...

Yes I do feel sad for Roos but he has to sort out his penalty/error rate. Apart from that he is class. It also doesn't help in the fact that we are spoilt for choice with talented loose forwards, especially 8th man.

Roos is not unlucky, sorry, he has not done enough to mitigate his brainfarts and other nonsense to get a full call up.
