Chris Nolan's - The Odyssey.

Difference is that while Jesus is never mentioned as being white, Helen definitely is:

"Physical Appearance
Ancient descriptions of Helen are intentionally sparse, leaving her exact features open to the reader's imagination. Homer’s epic texts, such as the Iliad and the Odyssey, primarily portray her as "white-armed" and possessing the beauty of an immortal goddess. Later ancient writers, like Sappho, began describing her as xanthos (golden- or fair-haired), a quality later echoed by Renaissance artists who frequently depicted her as a statuesque blonde."

It's just another unnecessary race swap. I could give them that, because it's happened loads of times before, and we should probably just expect it at this point. But how on earth can they expect us to believe that a 1.55m, 48kg women is one of the greatest Greek warriors of all time? I know films are all about immersing yourself in the world that's been created for you to enjoy, but come on. 🤣
Black jesus would blame apartheid and bring up his mike7 victimhood card?

Being a right winger grifter is a natural progression for washed up actors and singers looking for relevance. Grifting the right is like shooting fish in a barrel. Just scream WOKE at everything.

Anyone remember a late 90s/early 2000s Odyssey mini series starring Armand Assante? Only scene I remember was a CGI Poseidon in the water smashing the ship.
