That’s a crazy fee…City sources insist the fee for Anderson is £116m, which would be a club record, with no bonuses attached. Other sources claim the deal is worth up to £130m, which would represent a British record fee, eclipsing the £125m Liverpool paid Newcastle for striker Alexander Isak last summer.

In other news, all that Chelsea received for their 74 charges is... a £10mil fine, and a (suspended) 2 window transfer ban.
It was originally going to include a 15pt reduction, which could've meant relegation. But, the owner was happy, and quickly just got the £10mil out of his boot to pay the FA.

Exactly. Can only imagine the pisstake their "punishment" will be when the time comes. Let's not forget they have the literal legal team of a nation state defending them.

Money, sponsorships etc are the obvious reasons but also Trabzon is exceptionally beautiful, it's like the little Switzerland of Türkiye.
