Football Banter Thread (2nd Half)

Hooking his arm into the defender to simulate holding is well... What's the word im looking for. It escapes me right now. Will get back to you

i really don't want to put words into your mouth BUT you do know you won't have to look too far - the word is "CHEATING"

It's just so easy 🤣
He’s such a special boy
Strange how he doesn’t have this same energy for the actual cheaters in sport.

It’s almost like Arsenal are the biggest club in the world and he is obsessed.
They own his pea brain 😂

Just like so many other rival fans (mostly the TikTok generation like naughty001) around the world whose teams literally won nothing this year because they were so focused on stopping Arsenal. You love to see it. Their tears are extra tasty now.

That’s a crazy fee…City sources insist the fee for Anderson is £116m, which would be a club record, with no bonuses attached. Other sources claim the deal is worth up to £130m, which would represent a British record fee, eclipsing the £125m Liverpool paid Newcastle for striker Alexander Isak last summer.

this whole list just proves that money will not always buy you value - because most of the names at the more expensive side of that list flopped entirely and played like Poop gone bad for months for their clubs

In other news, all that Chelsea received for their 74 charges is... a £10mil fine, and a (suspended) 2 window transfer ban.

It was originally going to include a 15pt reduction, which could've meant relegation. But, the owner was happy, and quickly just got the £10mil out of his boot to pay the FA.

And still crickets around 115 FC and their charges

Exactly. Can only imagine the pisstake their "punishment" will be when the time comes. Let's not forget they have the literal legal team of a nation state defending them.

Anything less than relegation, and we'll know what's up.

Did not see this comming, not 100% why but guess he still gets Europa league and wonder if none of the other major leagues wanted to pay his salary. Still glad he atleast stayed in Europe and didn't go to Saudi.
Money, sponsorships etc are the obvious reasons but also Trabzon is exceptionally beautiful, it's like the little Switzerland of Türkiye.
