The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

Glad we got the win but that was too close! We need to sharpen up our defense. Our line-outs were good, scrums - I'm worried, no dominance. Good we took the points (3 pointers) when on offer, those helped us win the game.
Halved our turnover count - much better.
These AB's are much better than last year, different beast altogether. They can scrap and don't go away. These last 2 games should be humdingers too.

I'm struggling to get used to the return to the taking of 3-pointer opportunities.

After being a bit spoiled by non-stop corner kicks followed by tries, the 3-pointers just look a bit... well, gay tbh.

Better safe than sorry. There is no guarantee that you will get a try by doing that (kicking for the corner), especially not the way these AB's defend.

Too many errors they scored off from our mistakes. They literally sat back and waited for a mistake and struck.

How many tries did they score off us and our mistakes.
 
From my pov, btw, that wasn't a try.

It was more like the ref making up for an earlier bad decision of his own.

This kind of thing is baked into the cake, with rules that rely on such subjective levels of interpretation.
