If I was going to spend 30+ hours looking at pixels, I'd probably want them to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible, I suppose. Games are a fantasy after all.

So what did you think when you played as Trevor in V? Or any other GTA protagonist because they've all been ugly so far.

Lucia and Jason are the two best-looking protagonists GTA has ever produced.

Imagine if Lucia was some sort of supermodel that you fantasize about... doesn't fit the hardened criminal type stealing cars, robbing stores, beating everyone up, now does it?
 
Someone broke down the FPS from the "in-game" footage that was shown. It maxed out at 30FPS on the PS5 it was running on, and that was only at 1440p. So, it's basically going to just look "OK" when it launches (no 4K, even with upscaling, or higher FPS) because the PS5 only has a 6700 in it.

Because a typical guy doesn't look at Trevor as eye candy but a typical guy will look at a woman as such.

I don't fantasize about Lucia or any particular super model. Maybe you do. But the typical audience of such a game is mostly teenage boys and young men who like b00bies and eye candy.

A fantasy is robbing a bank with a cool, gorgeous sexy chick and not one who dominates you and looks 'mid tier' at best. If you're gonna have a chick as a side kick or more likely in this game you will be the chicks side kick.

Game is probably the most sophisticated sandbox there is. So it's very CPU bound. Given the PS5 Pro CPU is about 5% faster than the base, likely we won't see 60FPS on this generation of consoles. Only way to get it is to get the PS6 or play on PC (when it launches then). Otherwise, it will likely be a 30fps game. And 30fps is fine, RDR2 in 30fps was gorgeous. But then Arthur had character and this guy gets his girl to dress him and he mumbles so it's hard to even know what he's thinking.

What do you mean "in-game", where else would it be? They already showed us how it will look, that was literally game play.

I feel like some of ya'll forgot what RDR2 looked like on a a PS4. R* are wizards. 30fps is not going to bother most people anyway.

A typical guy doesn't care what Lucia looks like. Only those looking for something to whine about. I for one am glad she doesn't look like the Victoria's Secret chick in the pic you posted.

That's actually part of the staff that worked on RDR2 as you can clearly see in the first shot. Are we now saying RDR2 is woke DEI crap or something?

Most typical guys like attractive female characters. Why else play a fantasy if you're gonna see the same mid tier you see around the office or around town?

Good game play and interesting characters and design are not exclusive. It's not like you need mid tier or ugly to be interesting.

The vast majority of Lucia comments I've seen are very positive. So most typical guys don't care. Most will even find her pretty attractive anyway.

Some people are just impossible to please lol.
