You're defending a toon and confusing it for a real woman. If a video game where you actually MURDER innocent people has you upset over the appearance of characters, your priorities are confused. Let's not argue further because you're not tall enough for this ride.
 
I don't understand the beauty thing. GTA characters have never looked beautiful. They are gangster filth. This is not an epic fantasy. They supposed to be rough around the edge, 50 times around the block. Slightly better than when you drive through Brakpan.

Bloody hell mate, your debating skills are as poor as your standards of beauty. I'm not defending a toon, I'm criticising your piss-poor decision to deride others in a general game thread, and then position yourself as the sobbing victim. Like I said, piss off kindly, or join in and play nice with others. Not too hard there.

They were mostly guys - quirky guys - by far. For most guys, a woman - with such a short skirt and 'booty' especially for those with a Latina fetish, will be a sex appeal object. Like it or not. The dude on the other hand looks buffed up and could be a sex object for more girl gamers RockStar may want to bring in. Lots of people have said they find the woman annoying and the guy is mostly seen as a weak 'cuck' or a clumsy oaf, unlike characters like Trevor or Arthur (RDR2).

For me the biggest issue is the dialogue which was trash. Hopefully it's better in the full game.

I was responding to this: "personal standards for female beauty and the role of women".

But the game is fictional. And surely if we're concerned about perpetuating sexist views of real women because nobody can tell a difference between a toon and a real person in real life, (plot twist: obviously we can, never mind the game is full of twerking, scantily clad women and strippers), then we should be more concerned about the mass murder or even the male on female GBV in the preview. If mass murder is ok, the attractive female leads are also ok, and if mass murder does not imply advocacy for real crime, the presence of non snarky and attractive MC should not imply sexism or real life female submission :)

Exactly what I've been saying. Pretty much all Rockstar main characters are average Joe's for a reason. Some, like Trevor, are butt ugly but still awesome. Lucia is the only one he has an issue with for some reason.

Jason and Lucia are the two best-looking main characters in GTA history. And Lucia is more attractive than almost every prominent female character in the GTA series.
