Over the years and from personal experience, I've seen that these newer American 'woman' designs are not as seen as much in favour by most male gamers, at least from comments and videos. Sometimes even from actual game sales, eg some of Sony's live service games.

Let's face it, GTA6 rides on the name. So you could put the label on a turd and fans will say it's the best ever. The ghetto low brow toon in this game maybe will appeal to some with that sort of 'fetish' but to most people, I hear, they tend to find that stereotype quite annoying, as did I in the video. I suppose people with Latina fetish will also find her very attractive and may even defend this toon's honour.

And that's sad because graphically the game looks very good. They have a limited form of RT implemented in it too:

Yes, it happens with pretty much every single (Western-made) game with female leads these days. Certain people only want to see the most perfect-looking women to gawk at in every game.

And male characters shouldn't say cocktails apparently.

Lots of people find her irritating. Paying $100 for a game to have that in my ear? Not for me, if I want to blow gangbangers away?
 
Where are you guys getting all this negativity from because from what I have seen from hours on GAF, reddit and YT every day this is definitely not the sentiment I am getting.

In fact the biggest complaint I saw so far is the 30fps cap so the Pro bro's, well...

Vex is a PC bro so of course he is going to point it out and even in saying so he did not diss the game at all.

Rockstar sets standards and this is not going to be any exception.

I don't have any skin in this. Graphics look good to me. Played some GTA before but wouldn't call myself a fan at all.

What I don't understand is someone who clearly dislikes the game or franchise and then keeps posting negativity to try convince others the game is somehow bad.

Who knows. Maybe it is bad. Maybe it isn't.

I will probably give it a shot once it is out on PC one day.

It's just gaming discourse these days, people get their brains rotted by rage baiters/grifters on social media then spread the same energy elsewhere.
 
People keep confusing fps with a stronger GPU. The PS5 Pro's CPU is marginally faster ( not better ) than the PS5, hence still locked at 30fps. The amount of NPC logic / world logic etc. is staggering on display.

Most of the PS5 Pro's updates are on the GPU side for PSSR etc.

Will have to wait for the PS6 for a 60fps version. I don't think Rockstar wanted to dial down all the bells and whistles to make it run at 60fps as it was not their vision.

I see no point because I'm going to be playing this over the December holidays. I'm certainly not going to come here and try and convince everyone else to do the same thing. If you don't like the game then don't play it, but don't be a d00s to people who do...
 
I struggle to see the reason behind digital pre-orders.

Pre-orders make sense for a physical item where there are limited amounts of stock during the initial pressing, but it's not like they're going to sell out of digital copies. I'm not quite sure why you would spend your money months before when you can just keep that money, you might need it for something important.
 
Well if you are sure you are getting whatever game and are going to buy it anyway then it makes no difference at the end of the day if you buy it now or later.

It is in fact beneficial given game unlock and download times.

The vast majority of people are not on 1Gbps fibre.
