Too tight to call. Very little separating the 2 teams. Weather might have a say. Not sure if scrum dominance will be rewarded. Our defense vs their attack. Going with my heart - Boks to squeak a win by 2, 26-24.

The weather forecast has fluctuated wildly over the week.

Varying from monsoon to partly cloudy.

I wonder whom a wet test favours more? The obvious answer is NZ. We saw how comfortable they looked against the Sharks in fairly atrocious conditions.

Different story though, against the Bok blitz defense and in a forward orientated arm wrestle, there is really, likely, only 1 winner and they're not dressed in black.

From a spectacle pov a dryish test is obviously favourable.

I would probably say that a wet game will suit us so that our forwards can tighten up & control the game. Then again, the Kiwis are used to playing in wet conditions. So it's a coin flip.

Inconsistent interpretation leading to national teams having to adjust each time to the next referee.... this is just nuts and cannot be good for the game.


Overly complicated interpretations hurt the game.

The rules should be consistent at least, if not simplified.
 
That's a better front row from them.


Hope the lungs and the legs hold as we have yet to score a try in the second half. 12 points over 2 halves for us is not good enough.

ABs appear to be significantly fitter than our boys. Not only have they finished stronger but they've looked fresher too. And that's playing a high tempo game.

Their record at altitude? 8 from 10, another historical stat which I found very surprising.

It's going to require a massive shift from our boys on Saturday.

The first scrum will give us an early indication of where we stand.
