They are called called lock nuts for a reason. Where's the key?I tried hammering a socket over it but the protruding bit just sheared off.. .seems like that part was just cosmetic and the indented disc is what takes the force. Any suggestions on how to get it off?

Yeah I've tried , they all refer me to some mobile company from benoni that comes to you.Tyre shop, offer some bucks (cash) & they will sort it out.
Assuming you're able to drive on the wheel obvs.

is it worth the cost of damaging the cars computer ?thats a bit of a myth to a degree btw - about removing the battery before welding.
