the problem with all of that is the kids age - he is still only 15 - and for the Champions league he will only reach the required age allowed to play in the Champions League around the time of the next game so throwing his toys out of the pram right now is a transparent excuse that he is just a mercenary ar5ehole, and he seems to think that everyone else won't cotton onto this fact
you are only allowed to sign professional contracts at 18 and United have already had a few bigheaded entitled cants going through their academy - the last one was Garnacho and see what's happened to that tw@t now - he is no longer considered the second coming of Christiano Ronaldo but more like a pimple faced spotty youth still sucking his thumb who is actually a stranger to football pitch because the clubs he lands at are all making his shorts shine the bench
United have been though loads of teenage "next big things" who landed up being zero's instead of hero's because they were treated like they were too good when too young - Pogba, Rashford, and Frederico Macheda as well as Garnacho all come to mind as players who started off like a house on fire but who finished off worse than damp squibs in the long run of their actual career with one or two semi-spectacular years inbetween ..... and with this guys attitude he is heading there too but at Barca or Real Madrid the marketing machines will turn him into the next Mbappe even if he doesn't match the results and to be brutally honest - i'm still not yet convinced - the guy hasn't even played seriously in a real position in the senior side and everyone is already drawing conclusions about his potential ...... sounds exactly like Garnachos trajectory where everyone was touting him to be a mixture of Jesus Christ and Christiano Ronaldo but he turned out to be a lot of ar5e that clubs are regretting paying big fees for
only thing is with Garnacho we got revenge over Chelsea for them selling us Mason Mount when his career was more-or-less over - the guy (Mount) just cannot come back from his long term injury and Chelsea charged us big bucks for "in case he gets over those injury issues" well Garnacho still plays like a circus clown while we charged Chelsea the "in case his attitude comes right with another manager" fee so that was one useful thing he landed up doing for us ie got us some cash for utter dross
let this kid go and IMHO if Rashford still tries too hard with no results let him go too because his attitude was exactly a mirror of this kid but slightly a bit more discreet so the general matchgoing crowd was more on his side but all these socalled prodigy kids all land up just being entitled arses throughout their careers without ever understanding that they are only "legends in their own minds"

If it is any consolation its not the kid's fault his Instagram says Family comes first... so seems like the dad is dragging his name through the mud - pretty much like Adrian Raibot...

Dog sh*t defending, especially for Brighton's first. It is like everybody just stopped.
This has been a very concerning start to the season and it doesn't look good if you look at Carricks's track record. He had a barnstorming first season with Middlesborough, making the playoffs while playing attacking football, and then they got progressively worse in his 2nd and 3rd season, culminating in a mid-table finish before he left.

Lol just had to watch the highlights because I couldn't believe the score when I saw it this morning. Right about the first goal. But funniest part was Heaven's reaction after: not sure what he was on about because he was the one who completely lost his man. Reminds me of when we had Mustafi doing the same thing.

I touched on this when he first came in. He was found out at Championship level.
News that the team is not fit enough... Ole 2.0... exactly what's going on again... Lets sack the manager again and bring in another guy to only sack him at the end of the season because he got us relegated... Rinse and repeat

no - the guys who say we dont need a striker are the idiots - Carricks methods depend on a striker - in fact we cannot buy a goal right now ..... we obviously win when we score enough but when Bruno doesnt get hat tricks we draw or lose

last season under Amorim Sesko only scored 2 goals in 16 games - whereas under Carrick he scored 9 in 14 appearances and at one stage was 9 goals in 9 games which is a rate that helped us have better points returns in the second half of the season than even eventual winners Arsenal - so Carricks methods need a striker not all the "****-for-brains" false 9s and fake **** with Trashford and Zirkzee who are both cants
we cant rely on Bruno, Mbuemo and Cunha who are scoring at their expected goal rates we need a focal point to score and without a striker, Carrick .... who is more old school is being set up to fail - you guys are tactically very unaware and IMHO ignorant because you don't understand managers and their system setups

i agree with your conclusion BUT Carrick is still way better than that twat Amorim was because Carrick can still turn this around (only 4 or 5 games played for the season but Amorim could not even after more than half a season and being knocked out of everything before Carrick even started

Thinking about this comment, I mentioned last season in the thread whether we were seeing something legitimate with Carrick or just Vibes FC - Carrick came in, created a buddy-buddy environment with less demands on the players, allowing them to do their thing, while benefitting from the strict fitness regimen Amorim had implemented.
Now we are back to lazy players pocketing their wages, with the added ''bonus'' of Carrick's track record of being stubborn in his own way and not willing to adapt/change (or unable to).
No my point is that if we give the coach 3 years just let him finish then get rid of him if we not performing... by firing Amorim and hiring Carrick we seeing the same thing during Ole... no more fitness, players play based on vibe and now we struggling again... rinse repeat... Carrick must be doff thinking you dont need fitness to play football...
Now talks of firing Carrick mid season and another caretaker is put in place... no continuity, no structure no process all over again... and I can bet you somewhere somehow Rasford mentoring these juniors is following his footsteps...

look i honestly don't know where you guys are hearing about players being unfit BUT in most legit football sites or even dodgy tabloids i have never heard of that - in fact it doesn't make sense of the players are unfit because most of them just attended a world cup so they were still training daily and if they wanted to retain their country spots they stayed fit ..... so the players could be demotivated but not unfit and claiming that they are unfit would get you laughed out of dodge city because most of our first team are all international players who play for their countries
the thing about Carrick is that the only manager he could use as an example is Sir Alex so he would still play in the manner Sir Alex had done to the end of his own management career - and that method still involved wingers at the sides and a central striker as a focal point of the attack even if it was only one - so keeping only one because other teams only keep one is an ar5e over face way of doing things
i also agree that management changes are causing a lot of the trouble because for a specific manager the football directors will buy players to fit a system and just as progress is made to build a manager a team he can work with he is sacked and now the team is nto to the specs for another new manager so the rebuild process starts again plus our idiot negotiating team still go and buy players that they planned to buy for the previous manager or who suit that already fired managers style so we keep going around in a cycle like a dog chasing its own tail - so yes some stability is required and then we don't need ar5ehole dictators like Wilcox going around telling the players to ignore the manager because he is buying the players so he is the manager (Hint : he isnt because he is only an arrogant brain dead cant) ..... look at the tw@ttys face after the Brighton defeat
