are the ones that disagreed incompetent?I'm sure the ConCourt judges are competent people. They aren't all appointed by Malema, despite your previous comment.

That pretty much sums it up, you lot believes in fairness and equality so long as things are going your way, the minute it changes, the conspiracies comes out.The fact that the ANC are involved at all raises the question of integrity because the swine do not have any.
Well no, the reality is that after 32 years of rule we know exactly who the ANC really are. You can pretend they are the good guys all you like though. And for the record I wouldn't trust the DA either, I have made that perfectly clear numerous times as well. That pretty much sums it up, you lot believes in fairness and equality so long as things are going your way, the minute it changes, the conspiracies comes out.

Nope. The Electoral Court used the Law to get to their judgement. This judgement is based on something other. Not sure the reasons will ever be made known. No, I'm not the one claiming anyone is incompetent or biased. Julius' involvement is by means of sitting on a panel that is part of the selection process, along with the leaders of all the political parties in parliament.
So Corne Mulder had as much involvement as Julius did.
Also, it's worth remembering that the Electoral Court ruled against the ANC in this matter, but I suppose we have to conclude that in this instance that the judges there were much more lekker...

two side to every story, the truth is normally somewhere in the middle. And if the Electoral Court has ruled in favour of the ANC, we would have had the same conversation as the one today. Perhaps the Electoral Court was bribed by the DA?!!
The law is very seldom black and white anyway.
The law is very much an evolving thing, so it will never be a simple black and white. If the Electoral Court had ruled differently (with reasons given of course) I would see no reason to argue with them. My biggest gripe in with who foots the bill for ANC incompetence? I know you are not stupid, so one guess will suffice. But I heard an IEC official on the radio 2 days ago saying that 60% of the ballot papers had already been printed and those would have to be re-done at significant cost. And if the Electoral Court has ruled in favour of the ANC, we would have had the same conversation as the one today. But what has that got to do with the judgement? The ANC and DA didn't make the judgement.Well no, the reality is that after 32 years of rule we know exactly who the ANC really are. Well, the cutoff is there for a reason. So that the logistics can start in a timely manor to ensure "proper" elections can take place. Now this judgement throws that out the door and future elections can be hamstrung by parties submitting late lists after all the ballots are printed. I mean what is the cutoff now? People mos have a constitutional right to vote!I don't disagree with you regarding the potential cost implications had they lost. But we have no way of knowing whether or not that influenced the learned justices, and I would certainly hope not.
It will be interesting to read the reasons for judgement in due course.

5 judges in the commie court don't care about rules and deadlines.Well, the cutoff is there for a reason. What is the loophole?Everyone is pissed because the judgement allowed ANC incompetence to prevail. The other incompetent parties will also benefit, I doubt this will be ring-fenced to the ANC. End of the day this is a loophole that the IEC should have closed in the first place, so that it never had to go to court. I'm sure this will finally be done now, along with any other loopholes. It is what it is, no amount of moaning is going to change it. Elections are in 3 weeks, stage your protest at the ballot box...

The Constitution.What is the loophole?
