Chemo is basically lets poison the body and hopefully cancer dies quicker than organs you need to live.

Yeah it does seem to be that, it knocks him for a six for days after.

And that's how it unfortunately goes ...and just when you feel your energy is returning, the next session begins.
It's a vicious cycle.
If he's needing radiation after, the exhaustion from that is worse than the chemo.

Yeah he's now also looking his age :-( which is scary as he never used to. It really does suck

My nieces "father-in-law" is in ICU right now, he had a rare cancer that was even being covered by some medical group for study on how to combat it. Sadly he got pneumonia in hospital last week, treatments and pneumonia were not good :-(
