Basal cell carcinoma can be removed rather easily if caught fast enough. My dad had a few removed last year. Needed skin grafts for the wounds.Tomorrow is my 8 year anniversary of being in remission for my breast cancer, and, yesterday I found out I have a basal cell carcinoma on the side of my nose..... it's not going to kill me, but, still..... WTF?![]()
Congrats on the 8 years tho!! Well done.
I am 15 going 16 years this month (stage 3 Malignant Melenoma). This year will be the first year I only have to fo blood tests and no scans. For me the radiation damage from my treatment in 2010 has really faarked up my neck , right shoulder and back. Little things you never get told about, some people develop radiation fibroses ... lucky me, I am one. But I am still alive and hit 50 last Novemebr!!
