Microsoft Edge - Pinned Taskbar Icons Broken

Don't ALL 'normal' Windows users only utilise Edge to download an alternative web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc) and then set that as their default browser - and NEVER go near Edge again?
that's for the weak, never touch Edge even for that:
winget install --id Google.Chrome --exact

or once I finally evolved to a higher state of being and left the Windows curse behind for good:
sudo apt install brave-browser

people actually use Edge?!?

I'm guessing the same people pick co-pilot as their AI of choice
What's wrong with Edge, well besides the profile flags they broke ? It also handles a large amount of open tabs without loss in performance. If you have 365 business it works well together. Copilot is good at writing emails and working with Outlook, won't use it for more than that. Claude is pretty good for everything else. Google AI Studio works nice to draft application prototypes and visual stuff.

Google Chrome is memory hog and slows down the more tabs you have open. Edge is also based on Chromium. Rather look at Vivaldi then if you want something better. Unless you use Chrome for Dev due to its large user base and don't really care about performance.

Edge is Microsoft's too-little-too-late browser, they had to go Chromium to fix decades of awful sub-par browsers, no thanks, then I rather go with a browser family that saw the light much sooner

at work I do have 365 business, and yet NONE of us use co-pilot for anything at all , we rather pay for Claude licenses, some even out of their own pockets, THAT'S how shyte co-pilot is ... alas we use Teams, another shyte MS product, so co-pilot does get used to transcribe meetings ... very poorly transcribe them, but it's built in so what to do ...

see the second command line: I'm on Linux Mint and now exclusively use Brave browser
