The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

RIP Hyron
Brave showing from lions.

But this should never have taken place. It should have been rescheduled. There is no way these guys were mentally ready.

Decent enough for the Sharks on the road.

Last season and the season before that they would probably have lost that fixture.

JP is developing a great culture and team dynamic there. You can see the attitude on defense, they're fighting and playing for each other. Defensive integrity says a lot about a teams mindset.

What is worrying is the attrition rate from yesterday's fixture.

Andre looks serious. Jenkins limped off, ox was limping, Thomas probably failed his HIA and Julius was subbed too...

40-40 and 15 minutes to go.

Stormers just can’t put scarlets away

Bulls & Stormers really made heavy weather of their games. Both were very close up to the last 10 minutes. Stormers you can forgive a bit as they lost 2 hookers and Deon Fourie to injury. Poor Paul de Villiers had to throw the lineouts and they had un contested scrums for the better part of the 2nd half.
More worrying is the Boks that are getting injured.
