    Possible to make non-PoE network switch PoE?

    I have a Unifi 24 port non-PoE network switch as my main switch. I have a Unifi Flex Mini switch in another room down the way (less than 100m I think) that has a Unifi AC LR access point connected to it. I'm planning on getting a Mecer 1KW inverter trolley to run the main network switch, etc...

    Options to protect 24 port network switch from surges

    I have a USG router connected to the fibre CPE. A network cable then goes from the USG router into the 24 port Unifi network switch. Any suggestions for what would work best to protect the USG router and the Unifi network switch from surges?
