    Why are dual layer DVDs still so expensive?

    seriously they have been on the market for ages now, in fact they are ready to be surpassed by BD discs. So why are they still so flipping expensive? It's cheaper to buy a hard drive for back-up purposes. Anybody know where to get them cheaper? Makro = R139 for 5 discs Verbatim.
