0800375375 Again

What is the point of punching in your number? When you reach the operator they ask you again in any case.
Does the callback really work? I tried it before, they never dialled back.

I just tried it and am now waiting for this callback. They said my waiting time is about 20min. 18min remaining and counting.
 
I called that number twice in about 2-3 days also said wait time 20mins, so I hung up called again and someone answered in 20-30secs both times. Maybe I was just lucky.

Behold. They phoned back on exactly 20min. I still had to wait another 4 min.
Been on the phone 38min 17sec. Trying different profiles. 1mb profile does not even sync. 2mb sync's on 1952. It was stable on 2048 for nearly 2 months. Now this crap.
The usual story of cannot guarentee anything over 1mb. At least this was escalated to the local exchange to have a look. While I was chatting to him the line resync'd on it's own about 8 times.

At one stage the the DS Margin was 2147483643.

I hope this will be resolved.

I gave up on 0800375375 one day I just called their other braindead faultdesk and told them i refused to listen to the crappy 0800375375 waiting song and they better report the fault on my behalf (which was anyway not adsl related just a noisy line when using voice) and low and behold that worked I got some techie (who are quite nice by the way) out in about 2 days
