Demmit - not yet.
It's like Christmas - 'cept I don't have to sit on some fat prevert's lap to get my present.
froot, it will be released in South African time if you want to think of it that way, just not necessarily at 00:00.
my name is froot (actually his_royal_fruitness) but froot will do. I'm a die-hard Kubuntu freak. I will live and die for my mother Linux OS
it won't, before your download is complete. hopefully...
LOL!well my scheduled loadshedding is in an hour... so i'll be shedding some candle power before the download even begins...
Ok, I have a question (sorry for this slight detour in the thread), but anyone that has tried the beta or Rc from 8.04. Please tell me that ubuntu/kubuntu now has a gui to setup your pppoe, with an interface to choose your different connections from, without having to go through terminal, create a connection, copy, rename, copy back, repeat
The terminal way is not so bad man
Type pppoeconf
It opens the app
You say "Yes"
It searches by itself
You enter username and pass
Then you say "Yes", "Yes", "Yes", "Yes", "Yes", "Yes", "Yes" bla bla bla bla etc etc etc
Not so bad![]()
AFAIK Kubuntu has a PPPoE client. KPPP if im not mistaken.
