1TB External hard drive - R 1,599.00 (valid from 14/11/2008 to 24/12/2008)
* Stores 1000GB of data or digital
* photos or movies
* USB 2.0
* Powered by external power supply
* 2 year warranty
I'd rather go with the Seagate - Depending on your needs of course.
hi id13 beside the make and i assume seagate is better than verbatim what are the other differences
ye, that 5 year warranty is the real swinger hey...
Never had to make use of it though....
So what drive does the Verbatim use?
From my experience,
verbatim last made good FloppiesI'm not going to try a HDD from them for that amount of volume. If I have to lose a HDD with 1TB of data on it I would kill someone

Hey, they make decent CD-R/RW/DVD-R/RW discs as well. Have burned literally hundreds of discs and not one of them failed so far.
On that subject
I always buy there White DVD discs (name escapes me now)
My sister in-law sent my kids a couple of movies from the UK copied on TDK DVD'sI never even knew they made DVD's but they look like very nice quality and I'll be buying them from now on. Anyone seen them sold here before ?
