1 TB verbatim at makro

Take2 has a Seagate one for R1542 ..... so ja, it's in the cheap range.
 
never heard of them doing HDD's to be honest .... so I really can't tell. Mebbe google some reviews?

hi id13 beside the make and i assume seagate is better than verbatim what are the other differences

Seagate >> Verbatim above the fact that a Seagate HDD has a 5 year guarantee...
 
I have a Seagate Barracuda that's over 5 years old and still running strong.
 
The Seagate one at Take 2 comes without an external casing - it is just the drive by its lonesome self. :)

Probably a Hitachi like in their other configurations.

Edit: Found this on another site:

"If anyone is wondering what brand of harddrive sits inside the case its a Hitachi, long story short, Verbatim is owned by Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. which has a partnership with Hitachi for selling harddrives, the harddrive has a mitsubishi or verbatim label on it, but the hardware itself is made by Hitachi."

From my experience,

verbatim last made good Floppies :confused: I'm not going to try a HDD from them for that amount of volume. If I have to lose a HDD with 1TB of data on it I would kill someone ;)

If you want to test them, maybe go for a 40GB or something, but I would buy the good brands for 1TB tbh :o

Hey, they make decent CD-R/RW/DVD-R/RW discs as well. Have burned literally hundreds of discs and not one of them failed so far.

On that subject

I always buy there White DVD discs (name escapes me now)

My sister in-law sent my kids a couple of movies from the UK copied on TDK DVD's :confused: I never even knew they made DVD's but they look like very nice quality and I'll be buying them from now on. Anyone seen them sold here before ?

Yeah you do get TDK dvd's here... but AFAI can remember they aren't too cheap.
