right so Friday is the 1 year anniversary with the SO

no we not married but I would still like to make an effort to do something nice :)

she's not the flashy "spend millions on me please" kinda girl

more the down-to-earth kinda type...

looking for a good idea though, something nice and romantic to keep her on her toes and to prove that Im not getting old and boring ;)

maybe stand on a small ladder? :D

hmm depends what she likes, you should know but maybe a picnic?
 
Fill a small room with pillows, duvets, and soft things, then both get naked and romp around.

My advice, to both of you, keep on to forgive and forget. It just isn't worth it remembering old mistakes.

Rather, forget the mistakes, and focus on the good times the two of you've had.

Dude get her something flash man, you spend plenty on pc bits show her you can spend more on her than your precious pc :D. Just incase she has that whole pc jealousy issue.

Nice earrings or a ring with her birthstone in it and some diamonds depending on your budget but be careful that she doesn't find it and start to think other things :D. Most girls say they are down to earth but behind the BS they want some flash jewellery that you put some effort into
 
A bit of advice - it's an anniversary so fork out on something you both enjoy, not just on her. She'll get her turn when it's her birthday :D

Maybe try a couples spa treatment if you're into that sort of thing.
 
remember if you intend on being around longer with her do not go overboard ... i suggest a supper and maybe some jewellary and perfume

i did that for my 1st year with alot of gifts (clothes, perfume, jewellary,supper) and then 2nd and now for the 3rd have no idea cos i bought everything lol

dont wanna set the bar TOO high..

(besides killa, Im planning another upgrade ;) )
 
I totally agree with setting the bar too high.Put a woman on a pedestal and she can't reach the floor to clean it.
Maybe a lollipop enclosed in a letter of appreciation.
