Ok so replace Motherboard with OS.....

Still incorrect, read the Fortune quote, biggest problem was with third party apps. So replace motherboard with Excel...

Third-party apps proved to be the biggest soft spots on iOS. BTG reported that photo-and-video-sharing app Snapchat was the most-likely app to crash on iOS followed by Facebook-owned photo-sharing app Instagram, Facebook (FB, +0.92%) itself, and Facebook's mobile-messaging service Messenger.

iOS 9.3.1 Andy 9.3.2 were buggy as hell and caused conflicts with other apps, that appears to be the unbiased conclusion of the report.

I dont want to call you stupid, so you're probably just trolling.

It's really not that hard to understand exactly what the report is talking about (for people with a basic grasp of English).

That's absolute BS, how long have you actually used a 6, 6S or 7 for?

I don't know anyone who charges a 6 or 6s twice in a day. There are probably 7 or 8 users of 6 and 6s's at work, and at least the same number of 7 users and none have complaints about batteries needing multiple charges through the day.

Your irrational bias is showing now, my Galaxy S7 also has a bump on the back around the camera. I don't see the issue with it...

Your inability to comprehend is the only thing showing. It is irrelevant if other phones have camera bumps if they also have sufficiently large batteries.

As for your anecdotal evidence regarding battery life of non-Plus models, either you're lying through your teeth or the phones concerned are mostly just on stand-by and using very little power. As I've said, every review I've ever read or watched for the non-Plus models has mentioned the poor battery life, and usually lamented Apple's decision to keep the phone so thin in light of the small battery. And my exposure to the phones has witnessed exactly what is described in such reviews - a total inability to get through a day with moderate to high usage.

Ah, now I understand, you're one of those.

Zero actual knowledge or experience but knows it all.

A bit like a pigeon playing chess...

The sad thing is how you probably can't see the extraordinary irony in your post.

I use iPhones nearly every day and have friends and family with them. But don't let that distract you from ensuring your replies have no substance to them whatsoever, or from ignoring what just about every reviewer on Earth agrees upon.

Don't bother replying. It's clear now you need to be on my ignore list. Your replies attack the player more than the ball, which inhibits any constructive discussion.

If you had so much personal experience of iPhones why would your argument be based on every review you've watched or read?

It's almost impossible to have a constructive discussion with an ignorant person who bases their arguments on the opinions of others he doesn't even know, so you're right, I may as well stop trying now...

Lol... This is my feeling on Apple because this family member... That's Bryn for you.

I can give my opinions because I've used WP, Android and iOS as daily drivers and it's based of my experience not some 3rd party.

Except it did.

...and daily see how Apple products are better than Windows.

The rest of the tech is as they say, you get what you pay for.

Apple doesn't get away with it though. The iPhone 7 has atrocious battery life, as did the 6 and 6s. Only the Plus models have good battery life, and it's because they have bigger batteries.

Nope that is his opinion. When you're in the Apple ecosystem it makes sense it will work better than Windows.

Also you do get what you pay for, these budget Android phones have a kuk experience and you can't even deny that.

I have a 6s and your battery argument is BS. It's no different than the Huawei P9 lite I had.

That sums it up ;)

I still use an iPhone 6s+ and a Galaxy S7 as my current daily drivers, I also have an iPhone 6 I kept to run the betas on (carry it in my iPad bag and make use of it through the day to keep an eye on how the beta is performing), yet the Bryn guru knows better than anyone because he watches YouTube reviews :p

Something he'll probably never get, iOS isn't better than Android, nor is Android better than iOS, both have good qualities and bad points...

And the joke about it all is that they are 95% identical in all respects so those good and bad qualities only really reflect on the remaining 5%.

Which is why I never quite understand all the fighting about it.

I presume some people feel the need to be disparaging towards the "enemy" (even to the extent of making things up or skewing facts to fit their agenda) in an attempt to feel superior in their choices...

Ja it's the typical "extremes" case.

A BMW M3 is 99% identical to a Mercedes C63 AMG and the performance difference isn't much more than a paper value, but the fan of the one will call the other "crap" as if they aren't even in the same ballpark.

And probably call you a moron (or other disparaging name) for wanting or using the other brand.

Ja that's the part I hate most about the "sheeple" comments you often get with regards to iPhone especially, as if you didn't make a conscious decision to CHOOSE iOS but that it was instead somehow forced on you and you just accepted it.

Really silly.

I'm gone for a few hours and Gotham goes to hell. I need chemo after reading some of these posts.

I know it is his opinion, otherwise it would be a fact. I was pointing out that the opinion shouldn't be presented as fact. It was a passing comment, but always good to have trusty old Dandelion make a storm in a teacup.

I'm getting major déjà vu. I point out that comparing iPhones to budget Android devices is nonsensical, that nonetheless, Xiaomi and OnePlus make somewhat budget friendly flagships that can run with the best, that implying that the user experience of iOS is worth emulating is making a large number of assumptions etc., and then you reply with the price of bread and that I'm out of touch with your version of reality etc. And it goes in circles as I follow you down your rabbit hole out of curiosity. Well I'm no longer curious, as the last few encounters we've had were mind-numbingly unfruitful. Let's just call it a day.

I've already mentioned that I use iPhones on an almost daily basis, and other iOS devices on a daily basis. My intention with emphasising reviews is that we can go on all day by just comparing anecdotal evidence, but nothing will be accomplished because I don't believe what you say and you may or may not believe what I say. Looking at the enormous quantity of reviews out there, the best of which are on Youtube, is a far more unbiased way of evaluating the question at hand. And as we both know, reviewers have hated on the non-Plus battery life for 3 generations now and one of the most common points raised is that Apple should stop focusing on making razor thin devices and put a bigger battery in.

I presume some people feel the need to be disparaging towards the "enemy" (even to the extent of making things up or skewing facts to fit their agenda) in an attempt to feel superior in their choices...

And probably call you a moron (or other disparaging name) for wanting or using the other brand.

Quite amazing to see comments like this, considering your unsporting conduct ruined this thread. I don't recall seeing anyone being addressed personally over the content of their posts prior to you jumping in aggressively.

So the reviewers all got it wrong? Guess Apple didn't pay them enough :crylaugh:

Exactly. The whole world is wrong. TIL that some people actually think the non-Plus iPhones don't have terrible battery life.

Ah nice bromance going on here...

This thread is now an Apple fanboy circle jerk.

And YouTube reviewers are guaranteed unbiased and without agenda? Or perhaps they could be considered....anecdotal? As in there's no actual proof...

PS I don't believe you own an iPhone, or you wouldn't say "almost daily basis", you're exaggerating or pretending other people's who you might see during the day are yours.

This thread is now an Apple fanboy circle jerk.

There you go, as prophesied, the disparaging comments.

Look at my lovely Apple phone, it's got some sort of message on the screen, anyone know what it might refer to?
