Well I must point out that Virginmobile offer great value for money - I dropped Telkom dial up for GPRS uia a cell There are more details of costs in the Goodbye to Telkom post (consumerism)
But here are a few - can get by on R35 a month, using mainly cell for email and internet - use the pc when feeling lazy
Can do banking during the day... costs a few cents - so does reading the paper or posts on here - handy if you are waiting somewhere - have access where you roam
Costs TWO CENTS to send an email (using opera mini)
People are always going on about the digital division - well Virginmobile fills that gap - it not cutting edge, it is entry level for the masses - it works and just needs for people to know about it
