100000 mark

100 000 is a respectable number, good to get some figures from them.

Well they say every second a sucker is born. They got 1/5 of that market

Well done to Virgin Mobile, but I'm sure they could of done better with all that advertising :P
Another 1 year to go and Virgin Mobile should Reach 9 times that :)

It's virgin Mobile birthday soon.. Let's hope they come out with a good deal..
Buy one phone and get another free :)) You'll attract more clientle :)

We have two VM contracts and have no problems. The 2 "contracts" (month by month) are costing less then one previously did with MTN and we are making more calls. Have never had a problem with service, Data or calls.

It depends how one looks at it - 100 000 is minimal compared to the total number of cellphone users.

The real question is what the ARPU per line is.

VM's rates are structured to be worth the while for high spending cell phone users.

When the article mentions there are 35 million subscribers is this according to number of people or according to number of simcards in use? The reason I ask is because 1 person can be using more than one network, such as myself:D

We have 5 VC, 5 MTN and 5 CellC prepaid sim cards at home. Don't use them. I suppose we are part of the 35 million 15 times :)
