Good day too all, I have monitoring 8ta's usage balance checking site for a while, 8ta has been keeping promise for R299 (+night surfer) on my statement, however, since last month, there is new "Wallet" thing showing in the site for any extra you purchase.

so here is what I notice, ever time I finish my cap, 8ta add some small amount (like few cents, e.g. last month they charge me extra 30c and previous month something like 18c), has this happened to any one of you?

I pretty sure that I did not click anything for out of bundle surfing, and it did cut off my net after I have reach the limit. Of cause, the contract stated clearly R299......

P.S. if 8ta really doing this to everyone, it will be a great profit at end.

They charge me exactly R199. I normally dont finish 10 Gig.

Wish I could say that! ;)

Use the 10Gb plus the nightsurf 10Gb and usually end up buying an extra (or 2) 2+1Gb bundle.

Seems like they open up the additional billing cycle only if you reach your cap. If you try to log on and get directed to the 8ta page they start the "new" billing process (ie. your account tallies postpaid addon bundles). Might be the way their system is setup - can't open the cycle with 0c...

Found a couple of months that I hit my cap, it's 1 or 2 days till the new month, I simply stay offline and do not get charged the extra few cents.

My advice: Keep an eye on it, but don't be too concerned. ;)
