10GB mobile data is cheaper than ever

Wait but Telkoms 10Gig is Telkom data only, are the other networks also network only?

If you read the small print, as I quoted in a different post, the big deal is for a smart internet contract of 500Mb+500Mb with an additional 10Gb Telkom data.

Telkom data just means you get it while on the Telkom network, not when you're roaming on MTN.

The MTN offer is on special and its limited - see small print on booklet.

Yes but is it a fair comparison to the other networks 10gbs when theirs is all networks no?

You're misunderstanding, the 10gb on telkom will connect to any network.

However you need to be using telkom cellular. If you use telkom but on a roam on Mtn you won't have access to that data bundle.

There are no limits to what you can connect to when you use the data.

Somehow reading that I don't think you understood what you just said?

Actually I understand him just fine. But than again, not everybody is like me

So do I but he is saying the exact same thing as I was ie: the 10Gb of data can only be used when you are connected to a Telkom network and not roaming, hence all access vs single network.

I'll believe 10Gb of mobile data is cheap when I can purchase it at those prices but ad hoc for a prepaid SIM card.

I can't even find the 10GB plan on Vodacom's website. For technology companies they sure have attrociously bad websites.

Thinking back fondly to how our household was able to make that R199/10GB 8ta bundle work for an entire month.

Now we rip through 10GB a day...
