I never said they're kak ;) I would give my left nutsack for one, butI cannot afford the upkeep. Hence I will neverbuy one and just stick to my gay hondas and bmw that I have
Honestly. KTM upkeep is a similar price than other motorcycles. Maybe a R100 here or there, but the overall experience from KTM SA more than makes up for it.

Neh, I almost bought one in 2010 when I bought my Honda
The guy here at work in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town was horrified as his major service was R4500 back then here at KTM
My Honda was R1800 down the road at Honda for same major service.

Massive difference that put me off right there of ever owning a KTM

With many of the cheaper Chinese brands, the 125cc and 150cc models have the exact same engine. No difference in power, etc. They are often similarly priced as well. It is really a 125cc but they put a 150cc badge on some models to allow it to be highway legal, but also keep some branded as 125cc to satisfy learner driver requirements.

I would love to buy her a KTM but I just don't have that kind of cash. The Honda is reliable but it just is not as sleek as I would like for her.
I'm also a little hesitant to spend that much on such a small bike that I'm sure she will upgrade as soon as she can.

Im aware that the chinese bikes are not the best quality, but for her, for the next two years i think it will do the job.

Tho i will flush and put new oil in it when i get it lol.

Having owned many 125/150cc scooters over the years, there is almost no difference in speed and power between the 2. Yes the smaller wheel ones are not the most stable, especially for a newbie.

Maybe look at the Sym Symphony 150, priced well and they are pretty well known and slightly better quality than the chinese scooters.
