I use VM simcard (64K) in my Motorola v3x (3g enabled cellphone), But VM doesn't support 3G(384K) speed yet..

What difference will the 128K simcard make??

And what problems are there with this 64K simcard?

Hi there

Won't make a difference if all is working well.

just tested it again and the VM card is not working in the Vodafone HSDPA card. It spits out a "sim card error"

Hi, we have a idea that the Vodafone HSDPA card is Network Locked. That's why it won't work. Have you tried a MTN or Cell-C sim card in your Vodafone card?

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

The sim swop is only for people that uses devices that is not compatible with the vm sim. If you can use MMS and GPRS/EDGE with your device then you don't need a new sim.

Also give the following info:

What issues do you have with the VM SIM? What device to you use?

Thanks guys

thanks mate, you're a great help on here.

Piesang -- have you got your yet or is it on its way?

It should be on it's way. It's a data only sim. Just a temporary solution. I'll post here as soon as I get mine and let you guys know if it works.

To eveyone. Please post here as soon as Virgin Mobile contact you or if you received your sim.

If you don't get any feedback let me know and I'll try to sort it. But please be patient. I'm just doing this for the community and are away from the computer from time to time during the day.

Piesang, why don't you start invoicing Virgin for "customer Support Services" :p

Here is a e-mail I received from the Virgin Mobile Team at 12:33 today.

Hi Piesang,

Thanks for your help.

We are currently working on a turn around time of 3 to 5 business days.

As you can imagine quite a few customers are after these and they are trickling in from our suppliers.

Would you just let the guys in your circles know so we don’t set the wrong expectation.

G

Now this is what I call service.
