12MB ADSL being trialed

So one of my clients ADSL went down yesterday afternoon. It came back this morning synced at just over 12MB (12219kbps to be exact)

Snobee (another user on the same exchange) says he's synced @ 15MB

This is the 20mb/40mb trial setup - 12mb is obviously the highest that your client can go. Pity they will probably only upgrade 5% of the country...

interesting... they're prolly ~2km from the exchange. I re-measured on friday. So it looks like unless the exchange is outside your front door, 20mbs wont mean much

By exchange do you mean the MSAN? If so they won't connect anyone further than 1,2km from the MSAN.

how do you know this?

Stopped on the side of the road and spoke to the guy doing it . according to him they are fixing the copper there to so it will work properly .they were installing fibre to the large cream cabinet on the side of the road
