greenwireless killing all the green between here and Standerton with their boosted cancer beams ;-)

To be honest, I think you shouldn't spend more than R 11500.00 Inclusive of VAT.
That is for all three hops using decent wide band antennas.

Your'e not far off.

Scoop sent this mailer out today.

Three hops mean four radios. We can use RB433s for that.

4 x R650.00

Six R5H's will be more than enough.

6 x R595.00

Six 27dDi Aerials

6 x R550.00

Total so far is R9740.00

Add to that POE injectors, power supplies, pigtails, self amalgamating tape, waterproof connectors and enclosures to the value of R2,000 - These things add up very quickly

Now we're at R11,740 and when we add VAT to that we get to R13,384 - so let's call it R13,500

Of course, if the job was done properly, and RB600's running NStreme were used, the project would cost a lot more: 6 Aerials like this, 12 radios, 4 x RB600's ...
