Hi All.
Ive just signed up with a bunch called 153 mobile. They are offering LTE/3g data for much better prices than anyone else I could find They use Telkom sim cards and apparently can use either Telkom or MTN towers.

Ive signed up for 40 gigs a month costing 499 a month.

Does anyone have any experiences with this company?

My Sim arrived today - They had problems getting them from Telkom, but kept me informed and offered to refund me if I didn't want to wait -
Now I need to buy a router and get busy.....

My dad is with them, has been for a few months, has the 70gig package

He is very happy with their service and speeds, Brits, from 153 is very good with communication.

I have also signed up with them, received my sim today as well for 40gig. AMPED.

Up and running, also on the 40G package

Im using a TP link MR 6400 router which was very easy to set up

This is my speed today, but its very variable - Im a little out of the way for LTE but happy so far. I'm going to look at boosting the LTE signal a bit, but its not worth spending a fortune on it.

153 Mobile is still doing awesome stuff. Check out how to save more than R3000 on your internet data! www.153.co.za

Doubt that very much as they are charging like 3x more for existing clients and 7x more for new customers for the 500GB midnight data bundle.... Wow

R50 from Telkom. Buy a prepaid sim. Load R50 airtime and you are done.....

The Rain package they're selling is also R699 compared to R250 if you get it straight from Rain.

While all you new members are here promoting 153, I suggest you all read this thread:

EDIT:
Oh man, I didn't look at the dates on the posts here, this is a 2 year old thread.

Hi Linkinpark, thanks for the link. I am not sure what it has to do with 153Mobile ?
From what I read on that thread, people are calling Tech Global a scam. Did I miss a mention about 153Mobile?

I am very sure 153Mobile is not a scam. I have been a customer with them for maybe two years. I have also visited their offices.
Hopefully I can just help others on MyBB by promoting their business. I can really not find any other Telkom deal better than the one I get from 153Mobile.
80GB Anytime Data.
R599 per month.
No contract. Month to month.

Where is the scam?
