I have been given the task to get our company bookkeeper a new laptop.

What would you suggest is a good value for money laptop with a full keyboard, with a decent processor and reasonable amount of RAM? It also needs to have a long battery life. The max price she wants to pay for one is about R15k.

BTW - I will be going to the states to buy the laptop(since its way cheaper there)

Good luck finding a full keyboard. I assume the accountant needs a keypad?
There are lots of USB ones you can get with wrist support etc. Some even have a display on em, like a calculator

No she doesnt want a usb keypad. too much of a hassle carrying around all these usb components.

most 17" notebooks do come with full keyboards - i just want to know which make/ model would be best.

One of my colleages has a 17" notebook with full keyboard. Its a HP with 2gb ram and a T5xxx something or other processor. Will check out the model
