I bought myself a Benq 19" Widescreen. Its 2ms response. It's around that price. And looks very clean aswel.

Got it here at work. I am very happy.

Model number please? I am guessing its the FP92W? Maybe not, as this one is 5ms. I can get the FP92W for R1584

I am going to use it for everyday use (games I will play on the MacBook Pro's own LCD).

Philips 22" Wide

I would suggest the Philips 22" Wide SXGA. This looks like a awesome monitor and I'm very tempted to buy this one soon. It goes for about R2700. Anybody got experience with the Philips 22" wide ?

Oh sorry. My bad. yea, its 5ms. My LCD at home is 15ms or something, got carried away
But I am very happy with it here at work. As people say, it might not be good for games being wide and all, but for work its great. Got alot of working space.

And plus it's got a pretty good viewing angle, so you don't have to adjust your head to view the other side of the screen

BenQ FP93GX and FP93GX+
Samsung 932BF and 932BW(widescreen)

Everyday:

BenQ FP91G+ and FP92E
Samsung 920NWS(widescreen)

I got the FP93GX+ this morning (didn't have widescreen stock, and I might use it for gaming at home, so the 93GX+ will be perfect).

The display is crystal clear, with amazing definition ... plus I can run it directly of DVI from my MacBook Pro .. thanks for the advice, this looks like an excellent buy

Just a personal long life supporter of the - MAG 19" Monitor - LCD - Black - 5ms - Premium. Good quality - being using MAG monitors since early days. Never had any issues with those or any other models. My 2c worth.

After using a HP 19" for about 4 months, and moving on to a BenQ last week, I have to say the HP is pretty crappy compared to the BenQ

Just bought the 19" LG Fantasy LCD. Absolutely happy with it + looks really great Bit pricey, but worth it IMHO.
