19" lcd or 17" lcd

im lookin to buy a new screen whats better 19" lcd or 17" lcd obviously the 17 is cheaper but is it worth buying a 19 or a 20

Go for a 22", it's a bit more cash but a big difference. Try not to get a 17".... 19"+ I recommend

Mate, trust me. Go for the 22" monitor. Yes it costs way more but you will see that it is really worth every cent paid. (Your gfx card must be decent enough to drive it though.) Remember monitors dont drop THAT much in price over time. If you can afford it buy one now and experience the awesomeness of a 22" baby rather that wait for prices to come down in the next year or many months.

If budget is an issue get a decent 19" widescreen. 20" is better but not worth the price premium.

I just sold my 17" for R800.

I agree, minimum 19", but the 22" are really nice, provided your gfx can handle it.

I have a LG LCD 19" Wide screen. Was worth it over the 17" 's I've seen before. I'd recommend Nothing smaller than a 19" though, if your budget can handle it.

19" is +- R200 more than a 17"
19" without DVI is R4 more expensive than a 17" with DVI
Thats right a whole R4
