19" wide lcd choices

hi guys

i'm in the market for a display upgrade. these are my 3 choices, dont know which to go for tho, i want something that'll work for me. i play quite a bit of games, watch high quality movies and so on

I can't comment on the LGs, but I have a BenQ FP93G+ ... and what an awesome screen ... Using the DVI connection it is crystal clear and very crisp ... much better than the HP I used before
 
Definately the BenQ out of those. However, a 19" widescreen is not a very big screen. If going 19", it might be better to get regular 19", it will have more viewable area. If going widescreen, I really wouldn't go less than 21".

A 19" widescreen is about the same height as a 17", just wider.

how bout a decent 22".. not the other 2.. go for the samsung 226BW or the LG226WTQ, bit more expensive (3000), but worth it...
 
if i was buying a screen right now, I'd get the Sammy 226BW.
 
ok, i've checked that samsung out, looks nice, but the big question is... will i experienc lag and blurish picture during gaming, i play lotsa of top end 1st person shooters...
 
nope. not an the samsung. I have an Acer 1951 19" Fullscreen gaming LCD, and I jam FEAR & DOOM3 with no ghosting whatsoever.
 
A 19" wide is not a good choice, in hight it is smaller than a 17". Rather get a normal 19", you will be much happier.
 
yep, for bang for buck, that's the screen you want, no questions.

well i've mailed the guys at Sybaritic and they've assured me that the model they carry is "S" and to be even more sure they said that they'd open the box and check the physical monitor before they dispatch...

so ya, i take it it's a done deal...

One can always count on the guys there over at Sybaritic to get the job done, quick quick. :D

I myself just recently got 2x LG 19" Wide screens. Nice screens, nice warranty, nice all over!
 
For the 19" I'd go for BenQ ... for the 22" ... the Samsung 226BW, or the BenQ ... if you need cheap prices, let me know and I'll pm them to you.
 
The HP w 2207 ain't too shabby as well. If you're going widescreen then 22" is minimum, that's the golden rule.
 
I just got my LG226WQT today and its pretty darn kewl...

Just had a quick game on BF2142 to check, and no ghosting that i could see and colours were awesome..

just need to tweak it a bit now to get it the way i like it!

(better than the samsung if u ask me btw...)
