The 1982 movie Blade Runner was set in November, 2019. Guess it's time to watch it again. "Time to die".

Was one of my favourite DVD's that I owned, it had one of those WB cardboard covers
You're not missing anything. As with most "cult" movies, it's actually pretty poor.Confession: I've never watched Blade Runner.
But, I'll get round to it this weekend.
Nope this one.The four disc one? Yeah, had that too.
Now it’s a 1080p version of every release on an external.
And know folk will scream ‘blasphemy!’, but the ‘82 Theatrical - with Ford’s voice-over - is still my favorite. Has been since I first saw it... in a theater... thirty seven years ago...
... and now I need a drink.
I know what you mean. That voice-over gave the movie a film noir feel, like the old black and white detective movies. I have the four disc Final Cut on DVD that includes the theatrical release. The only version I have on HD is the Final Cut version though. The four disc one? Yeah, had that too.

Still recall finding the trailer for the PC game on my Red Alert CD as a kid and being mesmerized. Only later saw the film which was great.
Game was pretty good, watched the movie theatrical release on old VHS, than played the game. Come to think of it, haven't watched it in 20 odd years. The game is great.
I actually enjoy the game a lot more than the movie.
Also watched the movie after playing the game.
In comparison I found the movie pretty meh
