1982 Blade Runner.

It was mind blowing. I still watched it at the cinema when first released. Which is a bit weird as I was 12 and what was the age restriction

Considering they had the original Robocop at 21 back in the day. It was probably 15 or so.

Still recall finding the trailer for the PC game on my Red Alert CD as a kid and being mesmerized. Only later saw the film which was great.
I still have the game. One of the best movie to game adaptations ever made. Very short game though.

Also love the movie but the sequel was a bit meh.

Then again movies took so long to get to SA back then that it probably only screened in 1987

There's a blade runner game? How did I miss that :crying:

Yup, released in '97. I bought it back then thinking it was a shooter. Got home excited then found out it was a point and click adventure. Was disappointed at first but the game is actually really good. They got the atmosphere, music and everything just right. Also stars some of the original actors from the movie. Story takes place at the same time as the movie. But still, very short, very easy

The game looks really good for its age even today, except for the characters. Characters looked bad even in '97

Nope this one.

How many endings have you gotten?
Every choice matters in this game, legit.

Not fake 'your choice matters' like in modern games where nothing changes.

Your entire experience changes on every play through (although sometimes endings repeat.)

I probably replayed it about 6 times and every time there was at least one scene, location, dialogue tree or event I haven't seen before. If I remember correct I had 3 different endings which means I've missed on .

Need to try again sometime.

Not really that short when taking replay value into account

I've played the game so many times over the years, I think I've seen all the endings. As far as I'm aware there are 13, although some are pretty much identical, just with a different character and speech.

Right now I can only picture 11 of the 13 endings though. 4 with Lucy, 3 with Dektora, 1 with Crystal, 1 with Gaff, 1 of McCoy alone, 1 with Clovis and the rest of the reps. Can't think of the other 2 endings but I'm sure I've seen them all.

And yeah some your choices matter. I mean you choose if you wanna do your job, side with the reps or be somewhere inbetween. But some things are also already decided for you every time you start a new game. It's completely random. Like some characters can be replicants in one playthrough and human in another. And some things you can do in one game but not in the next etc.

Did a very thorough couple of playthroughs not long ago with the guy responsible for making the game compatible with ScummVM for the first time. Learned a few new things. That guy knows pretty much everything there is to know about the game.
