But surely this 911 can't literally drive to JHB and back can it? I mean its only down 2000kms so its never been tested properly, it will probably break down half way to JHB, and that is just not historically significant.
and the usual suspects come out of the woodwork
The thing was doing 100kmph in 2nd the other day, it's firing on all cylinders. Having said that, I'm no professional and would just like to find out the value of the thing. You could be right though, the buyer would have to give it a good test
Is this the car?

On those old porsches it is very easy to change the odometer mileage. Nobody is going to believe that even if it is true unfortunately. It's far more likely that the instrument cluster was replaced.
Take the R450k offer. Nobody else will offer that much. You can get a 2000+ model 996 carrera for that much.
@josh, try and get the car valued, but the R450k offer seems to be pretty damn good in terms of what I can see out in the real world. Be wary of listening to any of saturnz valuations, he wanted to sell a POS Opel Monza for R40k (or even more), when at best its worth R15k. Just a heads up.
Dude, he didn't even want to sell it at first. He wanted to just show it off for no reason taking up valuable floor space in a car dealership. For no reason whatsoever. Other than "historical significance" of course.
Pretty sure you don't need to remind ToxicBunny of the finer points of that orgy of a thread. I think that will stay in the history of MyBB, we make sure it gets mentioned often enough![]()
Pretty much..
It was legendary, it even holds first place on Google if you search for "Opel Monza Car of the Year"
saturnz would..
I would honestly have thought Google would have just returned 1 result, and that would be his contact details since he owns such a historically significant piece of motoring history.
