1c Tax on every e-mail send

Does anyone know anything about this? Looks like the government wants to charge 1c tax on every e-mail send to reduce the number of spam e-mails.

I heard that they are going to talk about it tonight at 18:00 on RSG.

this is just another money making scam. I will certainly NOT reduce spam. Spammers don't pay for bandwidth or dialup in the first place
