Our client is a leading independent IT infrastructure provider in Europe. They provide user support, the best devices, and secure provision of applications and data to support individual working styles and improve collaboration.

The Service Desk provides end-users with the ability to log tickets and requests, acting as a single point of contact for all Applications, Infrastructure and specific 3rd Party related problems.

To apply you need:

A strong service-oriented (‘can-do’) culture, with a strong focus on the ‘internal customer’ approach, committed to exceeding customer expectations.

High command of the English language both written and verbal is essential.

Own transport and a valid drivers license
Flexibility to work shifts
Essential Qualifications:
• Grade 12 – subjects: Mathematics, Computer Science.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office & Windows XP/Windows7
• 18- 24 months year in the Customer Service industry
• Basic trouble shooting abilities in the technical / Networking environment

Desirable Qualifications
• ITIL Foundation v 3 / Good understand of ITIL
• MCSE
• MCP Certified
• MCDST Certified

This type of thing really annoys me.

A company should NOT base your salary on what you earned at your previous job. You should be paid what you are worth, according to your knowledge and experience.

Many employers grossly underpay their workers (especially those who have been loyal to the same company for many years)

Employers should state the salary offered and not perpetuate the abuse of previous employers to save a few rands.

ps. I am not a liberal, socialist or communist. I just believe in fairness and honesty.
