2+1 promo over?

I've been testing the 8ta coverage and performance (it works, and fast!) this afternoon, and spoke to the Customer Service people a couple of times to change roaming and check data plan. They have informed me that the promo is over, and the price reverts to R200.

USSD menu and web still show price at R149.

Anybody else pick this up?

Edit: Just loaded R150 to the sim, and purchased a 2+1 via USSD @ R149. It's deducted the money, now waiting to see if the bundle appears.

Update: notified that 2+1 is loaded.

Its not over because I just bought it yesterday and its loaded. Christ I'd be damned if it were over LOL :D
 
It's odd that both service agents said the same thing about the price going up to R200, and one of them said that they received a communique to that effect. I'm wondering if there isn't some confusion there with the most recent price adjustments, because R200 also happens to be the new price for 1Gb.

I bought and activated the 2+1 promo today at Canal Walk - Western Cape. Firstly a young girlie working there gave me some BS story about their system being down and that she could not register me for the product. Their in-store pamphlet clearly states the 2+1 promo ends on the last day of March 2012. (I have a copy).

I returned to the store 5 minutes later and she told me they still off-line. I asked another employee at the back of the store and she obliged and signed me up straight away on her pc. I'm now using my old Cell C modem without a hitch. I just popped in my new SIM card, loaded the 8ta dashboard software and it connected first time. I'm impressed with the speed and stability. 6.2mb/s download and 3.2mb/s upload.
