Not sure if this question was raised before. Would it be possible to connect 2 3g connections on the same machine and dedicate one connection to send and the other to receive? The idea is to improve duplexing.

Sounds difficult how you going to connect all 3 on one pc ?

How would you be able to divert the traffic from one card into one line basically ?

Or can you take lets say 4 3G cards with 7.2mbps profiles on then, fishbone them like that Vox thingy...and then you have a 28.8mbps connection? :D:D:D

This has been raised before, years ago I think. Basically get a DataSim ( 3 sims ), 3 datacards ( devices with antenna connections ), 3 external antennas.
Point each antenna to different towers. From the actual PC control side Im not sure how to proceed, maybe just connect all three cards to the network and bundle the connections. Its an expensive exercise but the only one that looks remotely possible. :)

I'm not sure how using one modem for transmitting and one for receiving can gain you anything. As far as I know, GSM, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA are all full-duplex (meaning we can send and receive simultaneously) already.

Windows supports MultiLink, which can bond the connections from multiple modems. The problem is finding an ISP that supports this on their side.

What I think he's trying to do is the following.
He takes 2 devices and plugs them into his system, then dedicates the one towards uploading and the other to downloading.

Full duplexing has a bit of a Lag when it comes to FPS gaming. So he wishes to improve on this by dedicating uploading and downloading.

If there is any other way to improve FPS gaming without using 2 devices or somehting, please let us know.

Oops! that's what happens when you don't read a post properly, early in the morning. ;)

Maybe there are AT commands that can be used to do this. Enabling and disabling ups and downs.

you can use a proxy server to load balances over multiple connections. Done it before in MS ISA 2006, not quite sure how'll you set it up using Squid.
