Not good if we start seeing collisions between satellites becoming a regular thing. When a satellite goes so does the service it offers here on earth.

Oh look, no responsibility.
Who's going to clean up the mess?
Who's going to pay for the cleanup?

There are approximately 18000 space junk objects orbiting Earth at any given time. It's a huge problem and it's gonna double by 2050. There are 29 bases around the world where people sit every minute of the day to keep an eye on the stuff so that nothing nasty happens.

Ok, so I'm starting a space janitorial company. Who wants to invest?
Pls note, anyone named Roger Wilco will get their job application fast tracked.

as soon as these objects enter the earth's atmosphere it will most probably disintegrate before it even gets there, there are countless asteroids that enter our orbit daily and burn out before it gets here, I doubt anyone cares :>

Sure they track the big stuff, but the small things like blown off panels and pipes are floating/flying around up there, at speeds +10m/s. Imagine a bolt hitting your million dollar sports satellite, it would go right thru and no one would know why the picture stopped and also they could not fix the problem.

Apparently the objects that orbit the Earth travel at crazy speeds. I can't remember the number now but it was around 22000 something per something :p
