2 Users on 1 BBM

Hi all,

This is so confusing, I'm not even sure how to search for it.

My sister and I both had blackberries that recently broke. I bought a new one and restored all my settings ( we did back ups as well) and all my contacts was back.

Then I wiped it clean and loaded all her settings onto it. But now all our contacts in common still see my name when see leaves messages. Is there a way to solve it, or would every contact need to change the name on their side.

They would see your name because on their side, the contact hasn't been updated. It's the same PIN. They may have to remove and re-add your sister, not sure if there's any other way.

When backing up and updating you have an option that let's you choose the information you wish to keep or delete.

If all else fails just do a reinstall of the OS.

There is a simple way to change the details -- U need to find personal details - located at setup - depends on the OS as well. You need to change the phone detail names to yours or your sisters details.
